GERB and Reformist block finally sign a coalition agreement, the new cabinet to be voted today

The centre-right party GERB and the centre-right alliance Reformist Block signed a coalition agreement yesterday to form a new government. The government will have 4 deputy prime-ministers and 17 ministers. The party of the ex-president Georgi Parvanov ABV and the Patriotic front would support the coalition. The new cabinet with prime-minister the leader of GERB Boyko Borisov is to be voted today by the National Assembly. GERB will have also 2 deputy prime-ministers – Rumyana Bachvarova will be responsible for the state administration and Tomislav Donchev will be responsible for the European funds and economic policy. The Reformist Block and ABV twill have one deputy prime minister each - Meglena Kuneva who was Euro-commissioner on protection of consumers in 2007 and 2010 will be responsible for coordination of European policies and institutional questions and Ivailo Kalfin from ABV will be responsible for the demographic and social policy. GERB will have 10 ministers while the Reformist block will have 6 ministers.
