Austria's Nabucco consortium has started searches over the construction of a petrol pipeline passing through Bulgaria. The registaration papers for the forming of Nabucco Company Pipeline Study GmbH have already signed. The company will be based in Vienna and is to draft the projects for the construction of the pipeline that will connect the Caspian region with Europe. The main stages of the construction work are scheduled to end in 2004 and the pipeline is to start working in 2009. Turkey's Botas, Boru Hatlary ile Petrol Ta?yma A?, Bulgaria's "Bulgargaz", S.N.T.G.N. TRANSGAZ S.A. and MOL Natural Gas Transmission Company Ltd from Romania as well as Hungary's OMV Erdgas GmbH are the main partners in the newly formed consortium.
