The Austrian consortium VAB-BATEX offers the lowest price for delivery and installation of the equipment necessary for the enlargement of Bourgas port, it occurred after the offers were opened. The consortium wants USD 29,925,000. The offer of the German-Japanese consortium Krup-Sumitomo is worth USD 35,048,000 and that of the Japanese Mitsubishi – USD 43,315,000. The Japanese Bank for International Development and Economic Co-operation, which provides the financing for the project, will have the crucial say for signing of the contract.
