The Bulgarian National Bank sets the Base Interest Rate (BIR) at 3.22% from 1 November 2024. In comparison, the BIR was 3.43% in October. Recall that the BIR peaked at 3.80% in March and is formed as a simple average of the values of the LEONIA Plus for the business days of the preceding calendar month.
