Bulgaria will auction state securities with a floating rate of interest via the Central Bank as of February 16, breaking a seven-year deadlock. The Finance Ministry explained that the move aims to develop the secondary market of state securities and comes in response to the demand for such tools. The maturity of the state securities is three years, with a total volume of BGN 100 M. Securities worth BGN 20 M will be offered at the first auction.
