Bulgaria's new passenger car registrations down 14.9% in September 2024

New passenger car registrations in Bulgaria decreased by 14.9% YoY in Sep’24 to 2.5k units, data by the European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA) reveal. The 9-mo registrations reached 32.4k units, up 18.4% YoY, which remains the strongest growth among the block.
In September alone, new car registrations in the EU declined by 6.1% YoY to 0.8m, while YtD registrations were up by 0.6% YoY and almost reached 8m units. Among the bloc’s largest markets, monthly sales in France and Italy fell by 11.1% and 10.7%, respectively compared to last year.
