Bulgaria's new passenger car registrations down by 5.8% in February 2025

New passenger car registrations in Bulgaria decreased by 5.8% YoY in Feb’25 to 4k units. The Jan-Feb registrations reached 7.4k units, down 2.5% YoY, data by the European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA) reveal.
Meanwhile, new car registrations in the EU decreased by 3.4% YoY to 853.7k while YtD registrations were down by 3% YoY and reached 1.7m units. The bloc’s major markets saw declines compared to last year, with Italy (-6%), Germany (-4.6%), and France (-3.3%). Spain conversely recorded an 8.4% increase.
