Bulgaria's President Rumen Radev announced that he will dismiss the Parliament on February 3 and appoint a second-in-a-row caretaker government to run the country until the snap elections, which will be held on April 2. On January 24, the leader of the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP), Kornelia Ninova, returned the last mandate to form a government. Earlier this month and in December’22, both GERB-UDF coalition and the second-placed We Continue The Change were also not successful at forming a government. Note, that this is the fifth time that parliamentary elections will be held in Bulgaria in less than two years.
