Bulgaria's Alen Mak, the Plovdiv-based cosmetics producer, has listed off the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) on Monday. The decision to terminate its presence on the BSE has come in terms with the intention of the management to list the perfumery on the London Stock Exchange, announced only recently. The change in stocks' listing will improve the company's access to financial resources and investment possibilities. The idea forms part of the business strategy for access to West-European markets, where the company distributes only 7% of its output, mainly in France, Spain and Belgium, Yonka Kinova commented recently. Alen Mak's production is sold mainly in Central and Eastern Europe, the Balkans and the CIS countries. New products designed for EU consumers are under development at the moment. Alen Mak's majority owner is the Swiss Effekten und Finanz. It will make considerable investments in the company for improvement of its competitive capacity, Mrs Kinova pointed out.
