The Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (EWRC) has approved a 7.5% MoM increase of wholesale natural gas price to BGN 68.69/MWh (excl. transmission, grid access, excise and VAT) as of November 1, 2024. Compared to the current TTF index, the price remains nearly BGN 10 lower due to the crisis in the Middle East. The commission also revealed that the contracted quantity of Azeri gas covers 47.9% of consumption for the month.
