The Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (EWRC) has approved a 4.5% MoM increase of the wholesale natural gas price to EUR 39.43/MWh (excl. transmission, grid access, excise and VAT) as of August 1, 2026. The price is circa 30% lower than the current TTF index, as European natural gas futures traded well above EUR 50/MWh through July’26.
