The Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (EWRC) has approved a 5.8% increase in the wholesale natural gas price to EUR 37.70/MWh (excl. transmission, grid access, excise and VAT) as of July 1, 2026. The price is circa 18% lower than the current TTF index, as European natural gas futures traded above EUR 40/MWh through June‘26.
