Direct foreign investments in Bulgaria jumped 50.4% reaching BGN 1360.7 M in 2003 as compared to 2002, preliminary data shows. Hungary tops the list of foreign investors to Bulgaria with 27% of the investments, followed by Greece (16.4%) and the Netherlands (11.8%). In the end of November 2003 Bulgaria's Parliament passed at first reading changes in the Foreign Investments Bill. The changes put Bulgarian and foreign investors at equal conditions.
