The foreign trade deficit in January is USD 95m, show the preliminary data of the National Statistics Institute. Commodities for USD 377.5m were exported in January. This is a 20.9% rise as compared to the same month of the previous year. Bulgaria's export for the EU countries is worth USD 205.5m, or 54.5% of the total export in January. The import from the EU countries increased by 23.8%, up to USD 223.1m and Bulgaria's foreign trade balance with the EU remains negative. Most significant is the country's import from Russia, which totals USD 130.3m
