Bulgaria’s Aug’24 harmonised consumer price index /HICP/ increased by 0.1% MoM (+2.4% YoY). The inflation since the beginning of the year amounted to 2%, while the average annual HICP for the last 12 months stood at 3.8%. Prices of food and non-alcoholic drinks, which have the largest weight in the index, registered 1% increase on a monthly basis (+2.7% YoY), while prices of clothing and footwear decreased 3.1% MoM (-2.6% YoY).
