Bulgaria is a paradise for hunters and anglers and a perfect place for alternative tourism. This is why the Government attaches special importance to such activities in the structure of the economy, Economy Minister Peter Jotev said Wednesday at the opening of an international exhibition on "Nature, Hunting, Angling, Tourism and Sport" in Plovdiv. The exhibition has attracted 156 companies from 17 countries, which offer everything that has to do with recreation, hunting and angling. The revenue from hunting into the national budget last year increased by BGN 500,000 from the year before and the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry expects a further increase in the next five years.
