International Monetary Fund has no doubts for Bulgaria's budget, Jerald Schiff, head of the International Monetary Fund's mission to Bulgaria said in Washington. Schiff met Bulgaria's Finance Minister Milen Velchev who is on a working visit to Washington. They both discussed Bulgaria's current financial situation. Schiff and Velchev agreed that Bulgaria should concentrate on its economic growth. Election of new Governor of Bulgaria's National Bank was also discussed at the meeting. Schiff has also put the question of new deputy finance minister that is to handle the tax system in Bulgaria after Deputy Finance Minister Gati al-Jebouri resigned June 1. Finance Minister has also started negotiations over Iraq's debt to Bulgaria.
