Economy Minister Peter Jotev expressed before journalists Friday his personal negative attitude towards the privatization deal for the Balkan air carrier. "My opinion about the terms of the contract and about the way in which contractual obligations are being fulfilled is very negative," he said. On Friday Balkan pilots again marched in downtown Sofia to protest the current state of the company. Balkan Chief Executive Director Zvi Frank told a news conference on Thursday that the company will not go bankrupt and has future and it is only a matter of time that it recovers completely. Due to Balkan's current financial woes, strategic investors have been approached for assistance. Frank said Balkan will submit its investment programme to the Privatization Agency by March 31.
