Two Bulgarian joint power projects with U.S.-based power companies, AES Corp and Entergy , need to be revised to protect better state interests, Bulgaria's Deputy Prime Minister said on Tuesday. In an interview published in a local daily, Peter Jotev said some items in the planned deals with the two companies for modernising and operating thermal power plants, should be reworked. The two plants are at Bulgaria's biggest lignite coal mining complex Maritsa East, which supplies 30% of the country's power. He said the working group had already prepared letters of support which excluded state guarantees.
