The unemployment rate in Bulgaria fell to 12.06% in July, down by 1.15 percentage points y-o-y, minister of social policy, Hristina Hristova said. A total of 446,784 was the registered unemployed in the country in July, down by 42,559 compared to July 2003. Nearly 19,000 people started work last month, 5,278 of whom are young people at an age of up to 29 years. The number of job vacancies came to 19,130 in the last month.
