The municipality of Kavarna called one more tender on wind park over a 1,039 decars of land near the village of Balgarevo. The bids will be opened March 11. Some 10 wind generations will be constructed near the Kaliakra cape on the Black Sea coast. Recently the Sofia-registered Universum Energy OOF won a terrain of 1,300 decars near the village of Sveti Nikola to build 10 wind towers. The first wind park will be built near the Russalka resort village by Yomi Engineering OOD over 15 decares. The company should erect 20 wind generators by the year's end. Over 30 offers on wind generation have been submitted to the Kavarna municipality in the last 10 years. The new act on energy adopted by parliament obliges the National Electric Company to purchase all the electricity generated by the producer.
