The assets of the National Bank of Bulgaria (BNB) Issue Department increased by nearly BGN 25,8m from BGN 6,787.2m the week before to BGN 6,812.9m on May 19, according to the Department's weekly report released Monday. Foreign exchange cash rose by the equivalent of BGN 37.5m from BGN 1,589.4m to BGN 1,626.9m. On May 19, the money in circulation was BGN 2,509.3m, up by almost BGN 11.2m from BGN 2,498.1m the week before. The deposits of the government and state-financed organisations rose by around BGN 91m from BGN 2,670.2m on May 11 to BGN 2,761.2m at the end of the week
