Overnight stays in Bulgarian hotels amounted to 1.1m in January’25, or 10.2% higher YoY. The nights spent by non-residents reached 486k and by Bulgarian residents – 650k. The total occupancy rate of the hotels was 28.2%, with highest occupancy rate for 4&5-star hotels at 40.9%, followed by 3-star and 1&2-star hotels, operating at 24% and 14.5%, respectively. Monthly revenue from nights spent at accommodation establishments reached BGN 112.9m, which is 24% higher YoY.
