Residential building permits in Q2’22 came to 2.25k (+21.6% QoQ; +28.9% YoY). The total GBA under these permits amounted to 1 692.8k sq. m (+44.5% QoQ; +43.3% YoY). During the Jan-Jun period, 20 administrative and office buildings received permits (+11.1% QoQ; -23.1% YoY) with total GBA of 23.5k sq. m. (+39.9 QoQ; -47.7% YoY). Other building permits increased to 1.2k (+8.7% QoQ; -4.1%YoY) with GBA of 697.7k sq.m. (+21.8% QoQ; +55.4% YoY). The construction of 1 388 residential buildings began in the second quarter of 2022 (+9.4% QoQ; -1.6% YoY) for a total GBA of 924.8k sq.m. (+17.4% QoQ; +17.9% YoY). Administrative and office buildings started in the Jan-Jun period were 11 (unchanged QoQ; -47.6% YoY) with GBA of 10.1k sq.m. (+24.8% QoQ; -49.3% YoY), while other buildings reached 604 (+5.6% QoQ; -5.9% YoY) with GBA of 504.1k sq.m. (+13.9% QoQ; +20.2% YoY).
