Residential building permits in Q3’24 came to 2.1k (+9.2% QoQ; +0.3% YoY). The total GBA under these permits amounted to 1 115k sq. m (-6.4% QoQ; -1.8% YoY). During the Jul-Sep period, 18 administrative and office buildings received permits (+12.5% QoQ; -28 YoY) with total GBA of 60.5k sq. m. (+2x% QoQ; -23.4% YoY). Other building permits amounted to 1.2k (-0.9% QoQ; -7.3% YoY) with GBA of 572k sq.m. (+28.6% QoQ; -28% YoY). The construction of 1 553 residential buildings began in the third quarter (-8.8% QoQ; +1.6% YoY) for a total GBA of 935k sq.m. (-10.2% QoQ; +8% YoY). Administrative and office buildings started during the period were 12 (-14.3% QoQ; -29.4% YoY) with GBA of 22k sq.m. (+3.2% QoQ; +93.5% YoY), while other buildings reached 578 (-13% QoQ; -6.5% YoY) with GBA of 439k sq.m. (-2.5% QoQ; -24.2% YoY).
