At the regular round of accession talks with the European Union, held on the level of chief negotiators, which ended on Friday, Bulgaria opened three new chapters - fishery, free offering of services and competition. So far 14 chapters have been opened, which is nearly 50% of all, and eight of them have already been closed. The Bulgarian chief negotiator, Vladimir Kissyov, said after the talks on Friday that he was not disappointed that no one of the new chapters opened had been closed. "We are advancing at a good pace. We presented our positions on complicated themes and we hope that some of them will be closed during the presidency of Sweden," Kissyov said.
