Unionbank and EBRD signed Thursday a loan agreement for an EUR 1.5 million credit line. The money will go to the programme for warehouse receipts, which provides working capital for the domestic farming sector. Under the terms of the agreement, small and medium-sized enterprises in the farming sector can apply before Unionbank for working capital financing furnishing as security grain stored at public warehouses. The bank is expected to utilise fully in 2001 the EBRD credit line and to make available another EUR 1 million of its own funding under the project.
