Parliament decisively adopted on Wednesday the revenue and expenditure side of the 2001 draft budget setting the revenues at approximately BGN 6,300 million and the expenses at BGN 7,100 million, which adds up to a deficit of nearly BGN 857 million. Slightly over BGN 1,000 million are apportioned for interest rate payments on the country's external debt and BGN 312 million are for interest on the internal debt
