According to Dimitar Dimitrov, chair of the chamber, that is the number of the sites which have not been refurbished or completed and whose owners have had to freeze them due to the beginning of the active tourist season. The list may be extended, including already renovated hotels, experts from the tourist sector forecasted. According to knowledgeable sources Lilia hotel, which has recently been renovated, has been offered for USD 10 million on the secondary market. According to the experts, the reasons for the expected increase in resales are the infrastructure problems caused by the finalisation of buildings in the resort. Another reason is the pre-bankrupt condition of some of the owners who have bought self-contained parts from Golden Sands. The huge amounts invested in repairs have no return. The collapse of the Russian market, which is considered to be the most attractive, appears to be fatal, the chamber says
