The American company AES, which will construct new 670 MW power facility in Maritsa East 1 plant, will attract the US company Alstom Power as a contractor for the construction works. The government promised to sign contracts with AES and Entergy for Maritsa East 1 and 3 in the period between June 11 and 13. Alstom Power will begin the construction works in the last quarter of the year, Richard Mardon, AES Project Director, said on Sunday.
