Agro Finance special purpose vehicle (SPV) owned 6,607 ha of land as at the end of 2007, the company said. The portfolio of the SPV grew by 41.8% compared to the end of the third quarter of 2007 and more than six-fold year on year. The SPV has invested a total of BGN 14.86m in the acquisition of land so far. The land was purchased at an average price of BGN 2248.9 per ha including acquisition costs. A total of 98.52% of the company's land is arable and is in the process of being granted on lease.
