The Spanish Prime Minister Jose Maria Asnar has taken the responsibility during his meeting with the Bulgarian Prime Minister Simeon Saxe-Coburg-Gotha to encourage the business circles in Spain to invest in Bulgaria, announced the governmental information agency. Asnar visited Bulgaria within a short visit to the EU candidate countries in relation with the upcoming Spanish presidency of the European Union. The Prime Minister of Spain assured his Bulgarian counterpart that during its presidency Spain will apply a differentiated approach for admitting candidate countries, the announcement says.
