Bank Austria will conduct a financial and legal analysis of Biochim Bank starting from March, the head of the Bank Consolidation Company Neli Kordovska announced. Another candidate, Bulgarian bank Hebrosbank, owned by investment fund iRegent will start due diligence two weeks later. In January it emerged that letters for signing confidentiality contracts have already been sent out to Roseximbank, Hebros Bank, Bulbank, Bank Austria, Commercial Bank of Greece and France Societe Generale. The banks confirmed their interest in Biochim in written form.
