British American Tobacco (BAT) renews its interest to take part in the sale of the Bulgartabac Holding, it emerged after a meeting during the World Economic Forum in Davos between Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister and Economy Minister Peter Jotev and Paul Adams, Member of the Managing Board and Director for Europe in BAT, the press office of the Economy Ministry said. The tobacco giant is expected to send a letter of intent to the Ministry of the Economy and the Privatization Agency soon, the press release says. A strategy for the privatization of the Bulgartabac Holding is being drafted now.
