The losses of Bulgarian state-owned gas distribution company Bulgargas in 2000 will exceed BGN 75 mln. This was reported yesterday by the management of the company. The bad financial situation of the company is a result of the record-breaking rise in global oil prices, Bulgargas officials explained. Other reason is the twice delayed increase in the natural gas price for consumers - in June and in September. The natural gas consumption in Bulgaria in 2000 declined to 3.3 billion cu. m.
