Bulgargaz proposed 18.6% MoM increase in the domestic natural gas price to BGN 145.87/EUR 74.5 per MWh (excl. transmission, grid access, excise and VAT) as of 1 December 2022. Bulgargaz noted that the offered price is more than 30% lower than European gas hub prices for December delivery, which approximate EUR 113/MWh. The proposition is yet to be approved by the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission. Recall that EWRC approved wholesale natural gas price of BGN 123.01/MWh as of 1 November after a significant revision of Bulgargaz offer.
