Operative program “Regional development” has redistributed BGN 800m in energy efficiency projects. By the end of the year BGN 600m is expected to be utilized, Regional development Minister Rosen Plevneliev said. EBRD-supported Energy Efficiency fund will finance projects worth up to BGN 500m. Bulgaria will invest funds from carbon emissions sales in energy efficiency projects. In 2013-2014 this resource might come to billions, Minister Plevneliev prognosticated.
