The average price of Chimco shares jumped by 131.82% to BGN 0.51 on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) Tuesday. The maximum price hit BGN 0.80, which was 263.6% higher than the opening price. Thus, trading was halted from 12.15 to 1.00 p.m. Over 184,000 shares were traded, which is 1.20% of the company's capital. Chimco's shares trading resumes on the BSE today. The jump in share prices was caused by Chimco's announcement that it would resume production of ammonia and carbamide by the end of the year and invest USD 40 million in technology upgrade.
