The Bulgarian financial regulator licensed on Wednesday asset manager KTB Asset Management. It is 51%-owned by the local Corporate Commercial Bank. It is not clear yet what types of mutual funds will be incorporated by KTB Asset Management. UBB, DSK Bank, Raiffeisenbank and Investbank are the other local lenders active on the mutual fund market. The local collective investment schemes have so far accumulated just over BGN 1bn.
