The Commission for Protection of Competition (CPC) has launched an investigation whether power supply company Energo-Pro Sales has abused its dominant position on the local market. The regulator is investigating whether Energo-Pro Sales and Energo-Pro Grid [2EG] abused their dominant position last year when they stopped the power supply of the water utility in the northeastern town of Dobrich, CPC said in a statement.
CPC said that Energo-Pro Sales had to take under consideration the social importance of the company and the fact that the utility was taking steps to repay its obligations, before it cut off the supply of electricity.
