Finance Minister Mouravei Radev and Guido Bruch, Head of the Accession Countries Department for Bulgaria and Romania in the European Investment Bank (EIB), signed an EUR 30 million loan agreement under the Rehabilitation of Roads project. With this operation, the Bank's support for Bulgarian roads through state budget is confirmed and extended also to the rehabilitation of class II and class III roads. The project includes different small schemes for road rehabilitation all over the country, which used to be financed by the government budget. The loan matures in 25 years with a grace period of six years and will be disbursed in tranches. The government budget will service the loan.
