EIG GWP up 39.9% YoY in May 2013 (POSITVE)

Euroins Insurance Group (EIG) – the insurance subholding of Eurohold Bulgaria booked €14.1m in gross written premiums in May 2013 up by 39.9% on an annual basis. Euroins Romania GWP increased 71.6% YoY to €10.3m, Euroins Bulgaria GWP were down 13.6% YoY to €2.9m, while the Macedonian insurance company revenue increased 9.9% YoY to €0.68m. Euroins Health Insurance revenue was also up almost 3-fold to €169k. EIG booked €70.8m in gross written premiums in Jan-May 2013, up by 15.8% YoY. Euroins Romania GWP rose 25.9% YoY to €52.5m, Euroins Bulgaria insurance premiums decreased by 6.8% YoY to €14.4m, while the Macedonian insurance unit marked a 4% YoY decline in GWP to €2.9m. Euroins Health Insurance revenue increased by 3.9% to €1m.
