The second attempt to place a bond issue on the SMEs growth market BEAM was completely successful as the bond issue of ELG (previously Eurolease Group) was fully subscribed. The company placed 5 000 bonds with nominal value of EUR 1 000 each and issue price of EUR 1 000 for total consideration of EUR 5.0m (BGN 9.8m). The instruments will mature in 60 months and pay variable interest rate of 615 bps + 3M EURIBOR, but no less than 7.15% and no more than 10.0%. The interest payments will be made on a quarterly basis, while principal payments will be made also on a quarterly basis, but starting from the second year. ELG is a non-banking financial institution, which specializes in auto lease financing focused on Bulgaria and North Macedonia. The company will use the proceeds from the bond issue in order to finance the expansion of three of its subsidiaries – Uplease, Amigo Finance and ELA MK. Recall, that the first bond placement on the BEAM market was done by Financial House LOGOS-TM, which raised EUR 2.5m in July 2023.
