The Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (EWRC) has approved a slight decrease in the wholesale natural gas price to EUR 35.62/MWh (excl. transmission, grid access, excise and VAT) as of June 1, 2026. The price is circa 27% lower than the current TTF index, as European natural gas futures traded well above EUR 40/MWh through May‘26.
