The ferromagnetic manufacturer in Pernik exports magnets to Greece, Executive Director Dimiter Rangelov said. The plant is a traditional magnet manufacturer, which exports 95% of its products. They are most in demand in the Balkans. For instance, Serbia is a large importer. The first shipment to Greece is two tonnes of magnets. HZB of the Czech Republic holds a 75% stake in the plant. The Pernik-based company holds a licence from TDK and Nissho Iwai of Japan. Its annual production capacity is 2,000 t, but only one fifth of it is utilised.
