Fibank booked Q3’26 unconsolidated net income of EUR 18.5m, up 58.6% YoY, translating into EPS of EUR 0.12. Main triggers were the improvement of other operating income, which came to EUR 3.5m vs negative EUR 15.6m in Q3’25 and the growth of net interest income by 21.3% YoY to EUR 67m, supported by strong balance sheet expansion. Note that the bank booked EUR 17.2m impairments of bonds in the comparable period, part of other operating income vs zero bond impairments in Q3’26. The investment portfolio surged 92.7% YoY, while the net loan portfolio added 7.7% YoY. The interest expenses also grew notably, up by 67% YoY, but starting from very low base. This dynamic reflected the continued rise in MREL liabilities. On the downside, profitability was weighed by the higher net other operating expenses as the company had significantly higher positive revaluation of investment property in the comparable period. Credit provisions also increased by 20.1% YoY to EUR 35.9m. 9m’26 net income grew 26.4% YoY to EUR 86m (EPS at EUR 0.58) with similar dynamics in the income statement as in Q3’26 alone. As of end-Sept, the total capital ratio stood at 22.81% (vs 18.62% required), while the CET1 ratio reached 20.04% (vs 14.05% required). MREL as a percentage of TREA was 39.80%, also exceeding the 32.57% requirement.
