The energy and water regulatory commission (EWRC) has approved a 1.8% decrease of wholesale natural gas price to BGN 27.7/MWh (excl. transmission, grid access, excise and VAT) as of 1 December. This is the first month with a decrease after 3 months on a upward trend. Note that the gas price is formed by a formula which takes into account the international gas prices and the USD/BGN exchange rate.
