The national power regulator Tuesday said it is rejecting the proposal for a 32% hike in domestic gas prices made by state-controlled gas distributor Bulgargaz and announced gas prices will be adjusted up by 13.25% from 1 April to BGN 413.47 per 1,000 cu m without taxes. A 13% increase will lead to a 20% jump in heating prices from July, the regulator also announced.
