NECO, a joint venture between Bulgarian national power grid operator NEK and Greece's Copelouzos Group, will export 100MWh of electricity to Greece in June, news agency Bloomberg reported on Monday. A prolonged dry spell is taking its toll on the output of hydro power plants operated by Greek national utility PPC which is struggling to cover power shortfalls during the summer. This is NECO's first power export deal since the company was incorporated.
