Bulgaria’s Dec’20 harmonised consumer price index /HICP/ gained 0.5% MoM, while remains flat YoY. Prices of food and non-alcoholic drinks, which have the largest weight in the index, lost 0.1% MoM (+0.2% YoY). Prices of utilities, remains flat MoM (+1.0% YoY), while those of transportation increased 2.5% MoM (-6.0% YoY). The price index for restaurants and hotels gained 0.4% MoM (+0.4% YoY). Inflation was at 0.0% YTD, while the average annual HICP for the last 12 months was 1.2% YoY.
